Moving Domains to Another Evolve Web Hosting Account

The information provided here applies to moving domains from one Evolve Web Hosting Account to another Evolve Web Hosting Account. If you are looking to transfer your domain name(s) from another domain registrar to Evolve Web Hosting, please look at our Domain Transfer section.

There are times where an individual sells their website or a business owner sells their company. When this happens, the current owner must properly transfer their domain to the new owner. Please take a few moments to follow the steps outlined here:

Current Domain Owner

You, as the current owner of the domain name need to complete the following steps:

  1. Update the Domain Whois Details to the new owners information. Steps to update the Whois Information through our portal

  2. Check your inbox for a confirmation email to approve these changes

  3. You MUST email our Billing Department to notify us that you have updated the Whois information and want us to move your Domain from your Evolve account to the new domain owners Evolve account

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please submit a ticket for our Billing Department

New Domain Owner

As the new domain owner, there are a couple of quick steps to take:

  1. Please call us at +1 303-900-5050 to setup a new account

  2. Check your inbox for the confirmation email to accept ownership of the domain

NOTE: The changes made will not be reflected in our portal or a Whois lookup until BOTH the current registrant and new registrant have accepted the changes via the email sent to you.

Once these steps are completed by both parties, we will move the domain(s) to the new owners Evolve Web Hosting account where they have full access and can obtain support when needed and renew the domain(s) properly.
