Transfer Domains Away From Evolve Web Hosting

Please note that you do not need to transfer your domain to your hosting company simply to host your web site or email accounts. You can leave your domain with Evolve Web Hosting. Simply ask your hosting provider for instructions to link your domain to their service.

If for any reason, you wish you transfer a domain name away from Evolve Web Hosting, you will need to follow this process:

  1. You will need to disable domain lock for your domain through our portal. This is self service. Our Support Team is unable to take care of this for you.

  2. You will need to disable Whois Privacy Protection for your domain through our portal. This can be done by clicking Addons when you view your Domain Name in the Evolve Web Hosting Portal. This is self service. Our Support Team is unable to take care of this for you.
A reminder that we provide Free Whois Privacy Protection whereas other domain name providers charge extra for this feature.

  3. You will need to open a ticket for our Billing Department to request your EPP / Transfer Code. This will be emailed within 5 days to the domain registrant only. This code can not be provided to any other email address or over the phone or through a Support Ticket.

A few things to point out

  1. You can have your domain names registered with us and point them to other hosting providers

  2. Our Renewal rates are a lot lower than a majority of domain name providers - Check out our Domain Name Rates

  3. Our Technical Support is a lot faster than a majority of domain name providers

  4. Domains registered with us include (for no extra charge) Whois Privacy Protection, Premium Anycast DNS and DNS Management

There are a few TLDs that do not offer any Privacy Protection. See the TLD Exceptions
