Create a Database
To create a database, start by logging in to your DirectAdmin control panel
Search
The DirectAdmin Search function works very well and makes it very easy to locate the FTP Management page. Type MySQL in the search bar and the link to the MySQL Management page will appear.
If you don’t use the Search Bar for any reason, locate the Account Manager section shown below and click on MySQL Management

Click on the blue button CREATE NEW DATABASE

Insert a name for your new database and either leave the box checked to name the database user the same as the database name or uncheck that box (the 2nd image shows the field to create a unique database username)to enter a different database username. Choose a strong and unique password and click CREATE DATABASE.

If you don’t want to use the Search Bar for any reason, use the menu once you are logged in, navigate to Account Manager > MySQL Management

Locate the database you wish to Delete and check the box next to it
