The cPanel Email Routing page is used in conjunction with MX Records set through the Zone Editor to route your email properly.
Improper configuration can break your email delivery
Login to your cPanel account
Locate the Email section and click on Email Routing
cPanel Email Section After clicking Email Routing you will see the screen shown below cPanel Email Routing Page The four options work as follows: Automatically Detect Configuration (Recommended) Choosing this setting means cPanel will evaluate your current MX Records and choose Local, backup or remote based on the records it finds.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. An FTP connection allows you to be able to upload files from your local device to your web hosting account.
Create an FTP Account Difficulty Level: Easy
Follow these steps to create additional FTP accounts. This allows you to revoke access at any time without giving someone full access to your entire cPanel account or additional folders on your account.
Login to cPanel
Click on FTP Accounts
This interface allows you to configure how your server filters all of the email that your domains’ email accounts receive.
Note We strongly recommend that you use multiple, simple filters instead of a single large filter. Exim, the server’s mail transfer agent, handles many small rules more efficiently than a single large rule.
Email filters will not process any email messages that are discarded before delivery. The system may discard some email messages before delivery if you select the Discard the email while your server processes it by SMTP time with an error message setting in cPanel’s Default Address interface (cPanel » Home » Email » Default Address).

cPanel Login via Web Browser To access the cPanel login page from your web browser, type in yourdomain.com/cpanel (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name)
Your cPanel username can be found 1 of 2 ways if you don’t already know it.

If you need to change the PHP version for your website which is often the case when updating your software and staying on top of software changes, cPanel provides you with the ability to do so.
There is no need to create a backup prior to changing this setting
In order to change your cPanel password directly in cPanel, you will need to know your current cPanel password.
